Thirty-five years ago I left the Canadian military to pursue a career in the film industry. The first thing I did was I walked onto an independent film set and offered the PM something no one else there could offer…I said, ”I work for free”. Well, needless to say, that got me the job and I have never looked back.
Over the course of my career I’ve had the opportunity to work on everything from big budget Feature films / smaller independents / big scale DC Superhero television and homegrown CBC productions, all of which have been equally gratifying. My career as an AD and Producer have taken me all over the world from Canada and the U.S. to Europe and the Middle East. What a ride it’s been.
I was born and raised in Vancouver and still call this my home. The natural beauty of this place is not only awe-inspiring but has been an amazing place to live, work and raise my family.
Jaye Gazeley
I began my career in entertainment as a child actor, later transitioning into production in my 20s, where I traveled the world shooting music videos. In 2000, I was fortunate to join Paramount as a location scout. It was there that I met Bob, marking the start of an incredible journey through various roles, including location manager, production manager, line producer, and producer.
With over 40 feature films, television movies, and series to my credit, I’ve been privileged to work across the globe—from Canada and Central America to the U.S., the Middle East, and Europe. These experiences have given me a unique, comprehensive perspective on the international film industry.
What I love most is being part of a team that transforms a vision into reality, whether in film and television or through my other passion: music. I’m deeply grateful to live and work in Vancouver, surrounded by an exceptionally talented film community that consistently delivers world-class productions for audiences worldwide.
